About Us

Balfa UK was formed as a high end & exclusive bike distributor in early 2002. Founded by passionate riders, they found that the UK was lacking in exclusive high end distributors and saw that there were a significant number of brands out there that were too small to be distributed by the big players. This is still true today with the exception that Balfa UK is now a largely recognised distributor in the UK, known for bringing new & exciting brands to the UK shores.

At Balfa UK we pride ourselves on the products, service and knowledge we offer. With a rapidly growing team of people who all ride, we are able to keep at the fore front of the latest products on the market. A lot of the brands we offer today are brands that have not been distributed in the UK prior to an envolvement with Balfa UK. 

We have excellent contacts within the cycling media & with distributors both in the UK & Europe. We have in the past been the European Distributor for Dangerboy USA, warehousing stock & distributing their products right throughout Europe. We currently distribute products from Acros, Foes Racing, Ritte Van Vlaanderen, Elka Suspension, itte  Kodex, Dobermann, Marwi, .243 Racing, Bombshell and Avent with more brands joining our group all the time.

We firmly believe that, in order to be able to provide the customer support that people expect, it is paramount that we are able to repair and service all products that we sell. This includes suspension servicing and also frame repairs and refurbishments. We are one of two exclusive Curnutt Racing Shock service centres in Europe and cover Scandinavia, Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland as well as the UK.

Over the past few years we have operated our own successful race team. We have had numerous victories & championship wins throughout the UK & Europe including National Championships, National Point Series, Scottish National Championships and also the prestigious Maxxis Cup trophy. To run alongside this we also operate a large demo fleet and comprehensive Grass Roots programme.
